Sandrine Holt was the mother of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London November 19, 1972. Her parents are a Chinese father and an French mother. She moved from China to Toronto Canada when she was five years old which is where she has lived from the beginning. Her first job was as Paris catwalk models before deciding to become an actress. The actress made her debut in film in the role of Annuka in the year 1991 with Black Robe. In the movie, her character was recognized by The Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). The films Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed as well as guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For John Woo s The Thief she played a major role in the development of the series for 22 episodes. In 2004, the film Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation, which can only be viewed on DVDVHS and Resident Evil Apocalypse was released. In 2006 she was able to secure a larger series role in 24 -- Twenty Four and Runaway. Holt was a guest on a couple of appearances in series and then smaller parts in films. Holt landed a lead part on the film Hostages (2013) in addition to having played a supporting character in Netflix's House of Cards. Holt was the lead character Julie Han in the US remake The Returned in 2015 and was cast in the role of the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
