Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale took part in a modeling competition in Perth at the age of 18. After several years of modeling Gale was noticed when in 1999 was cast for a role in a number of adverts for an Italian telecom company called Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and she was featured in the commercials of the company from 1999 until. She was also retained as a model by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as the 'advertisement face of Australia within Italy'. Gale has appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire Grazia Gioia Italian Maxim Australian InStyle, Australian Marie Claire, Italian GQ as well as Australian GQ and was also featured in Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan editorials. Gale has worked for Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere Genny And Gai Mattiolo and also on the runways of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale also favours many Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. She was the fashion commentator for the Australian awards on television, called the Logies. In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement from modeling on runways after 15 years. She walked on the catwalk for the last time only a couple of weeks later at a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. For her last look she donned Wonder Woman's attire from the Justice League of America movie but it was never made. Gale made a return to runways in the month of March 2011 and completed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th anniversary as a designer with department shop David Jones, the longest run fashion contract in Australia. Gale was appointed ambassador for L'Oreal Paris the same month. She joined Beyonce Jennifer Lopez Gwen Stefani. Gale starred in an L'Oreal Shampoo commercial that was telecast across Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
